Advanced Subsidiary Education is aimed at grooming students for higher studies in recognized Universities around the world. The English Modern School offers this pre-University qualification course. The course qualifies students who achieve commendable grades to attend universities in many Western countries and also to gain equivalence to be admitted to many Middle Eastern and American style Academies.
AS level students are students who succeed at IGCSE level (year 11).
Qualification to join AS education:
- A minimum of four (4) AS subjects should be taken irrespective of how many a student may wish to sit at examination.
- Attendance at school and at lessons is compulsory. Students who miss classes or who do not complete assignments will be omitted from classes and school. Such students may be allowed to sit for examination at the school as private candidates. They will not be able to continue as full-time students at the school beyond January of any academic year.
- Students seeking admission in AS program should qualify academically as per the qualification requirements. Those who do not meet the school requirements shall not be admitted for the course.
At the English Modern School, courses for following subjects are offered for AS level:
