BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
Al Muftah Contracting Company (AMC) is based at Al Muftah Centre in Al Sadd Street.
AMC is one of the major Divisions of the Al Muftah Group and was established in 1977 as a humble enterprise. AMC has grown in pace with the industrial and economic growth of the country and today Al Muftah Contracting Co. is one of the largest civil construction companies in the State of Qatar and is a registered Grade ‘A’ Construction and Development Co. with accreditation of ISO 9001:2000. AMC is pre-qualified by all the Project Consultants, Government and semi-Government Agencies, Corporations & banks etc. as one of the established and reputed companies in the State of Qatar and hence is inevitably involved in all aspects of Qatar’s development.
AMC undertakes Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning (EPIC) Projects on lump sum contract basis in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing (MEP) & Instrumentation fields, other construction projects like villas, Mosques, Fire stations, Petrol Stations, Sports facilities, Tank foundations et al. AMC also undertakes civil (MEP) Maintenance Contracts in Petrochemical Complexes, Fertilizers, Steel Plants and Residential & Commercial complexes.
AMC has well established and well maintained Equipment & Stores Yard at Wukhair on the outskirts of Doha, conveniently situated to service all activities of the Division. Also situated on these premises are work shops and storage facilities.
